Reno, NV (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Family and friends of 17 year old Ryan Connelly, who was shot and killed in July of 2012, refuse to give up.

Ryan Connelly was shot and killed on Wedekind Rd. on July 7, 2012 while walking home from Go Mart. Nine months later, there have been no arrests made in the case.

Tonight, Saturday, April 20, 2013, friends and family gathered at Hug High School to remember Ryan and remind the public that they won't give up, and they continue to fight for answers every single day.

Deana Crook, Ryan's Mother, says she doesn't care how minor the information may be she just wants justice for her son, and that can't happen unless someone comes forward, "If their child was killed they would want them to come forward and say something, so please just say something."

Secret Witness is offering a reward for information in this case. You can call 322-4900 to remain anonymous.

Lady, my prayers go out to you and Kevin and Andy. I continue to pray for you and your strength but most of all that someone will gain a consious and speak up for your son. Wont most dont know is what the feeling of being in your shoes is like and if someone did this to thier child or sibling they would want the same Answers!!!! I continue to keep an ear open and I find it hard to believe the police having nothing solid after having the main female in thier custody who seen everything. She couldnt have possibly walked giving them no answers at all!!!
