I am Fermin's wife and this was the first thing that let me know something had happened, I had sent my son's to look for their father because their father was never late without a call, we kept calling his phone, so at 5pm I turned on the news and I called our son and he went right there. This has been a nightmare, but we would like to thank the bystanders who helped him, and thank you to News 4 Laura Ogaldez

I used to drive right by there to work everyday. Would always see at least 1 car run the light off the freeway onto Mill St. I surprised it doesn't happen more often

Oops, sorry I ran two things together, I saw what the car looked like that hit the motorcycle, why, why, why didn't you wait, and my heart goes out to the driver of the other car involved. My prayers again to the family of the man who lost his life, such a senseless tragedy.

How sad that one person was so inpatient and didn't want to wait so they run a red light causing another person to lose their life. A two minute wait would have made all the difference, I saw what the car looked like that the motorcycle hit because of the Sicon, and my heart goes out to them. Prayers to the family of the man who lost his life.

I ride almost everyday and when ever my light turns green I hesitate because I see so many people ingore the traffic laws. Maybe the Reno and Sparks police should start investing in Red Light cameras, in this town they will pay for themselves in no time. This was a senseless tragedy to a part of our extended family and we are devistated by the loss.

The way drivers ignore motorcyclists in this town, it is surprising that this doesn't happen everyday. An example should be made of the driver that ran the red light.
