CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — The Nevada Highway Patrol is looking for a suspect in a fatal hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of a pedestrian in Carson City.
Trooper Chuck Allen says a 46-year-old Carson City man was struck and killed about 6:30 a.m. when he tried to cross William Street near Mills Park northeast of downtown.
Allen says the vehicle was a silver Toyota 4Runner. It's not clear if the victim was in a crosswalk. His name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
