YERINGTON, Nev. (Mynews4.com & KRNV) -- The man accused of killing five people in and around Fernley last summer appeared in court on Wednesday.
Jeremiah Bean received a new co-counsel, because his first co-counsel could no longer represent him. In addition, the court reviewed the jury survey for the possible June trial.
Lawyer Richard Davies said that something occurred with Bean's first co-counsel, making him unable to serve. "I don't know the details of it. All I can say is the new co-counsel is a fine lawyer, and a fine man."
Bean's next hearing is scheduled for Thursday, February 6.
