RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Rubber ducks are taking over the Truckee River this weekend.

The Nevada Humane Society Duck Race is back for the fifth year this Sunday. About 20,000 ducks will race down the Truckee at Wingfield Park to raise awareness and funds for homeless pets.

The festival starts at 11 a.m. and the duck race is at 4 p.m. There is still time to adopt a duck in the race for $5, and you could win a 2011 Ford Fiesta, donated by Dick Campagni's Carson Auto Group.
