Firefighter injured putting out fire on N. Virginia last night

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A firefighter was injured last night after helping to put out a fire near a Reno salvage yard.

It happened on the 9800 block of N. Virginia Street around 10:30pm. Reno officials say the blaze started inside a trailer where the night watchman and his dog lived.

The extent of the firefighter's injuries are unknown. An investigation is underway.
