CARSON CITY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Governor Brian Sandoval will unveil Nevada's first-ever statewide brand Tuesday.
The brand will be used for marketing purposes.
The idea is that the brand will be used to attract visitors and be used as a marketing tool for state agencies.
At the brand launch, the Nevada Commission on Tourism (NCOT) is expected to reveal an all new Spring/Summer TV campaign, newly redesigned website, and a sneak peak at a mobile app.
"They hope is that people will embrace this brand that it will create excitement and energy among all Nevadans," NCOT Director Claudia Vecchio says.
The actual brand is embargoed until the launch, but Vecchio gave New 4 a small hint.
The American rock band formed in Las Vegas "The Killers" have a song that will be used as a part of the brand campaign and that will be revealed.
Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki will join Gov. Sandoval and NCOT at the brand's launch at 3 p.m.
