Reno, NV (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A local woman who ran in the Boston Marathon last year shared her reaction to the tragic events in Boston this week.
Sylvia Scoggin ran in the Boston Marathon last year and says when she heard about the tragedy she immediately thought about where she would have been during the race when the bomb went off, "All I could see was where I would have been at that time and where my husband would have been cheering me on, would it be that side of the street?"
Scoggin also raised many questions, "Why, why the Boston Marathon, why those innocent people, I would like to know why did he do this?"
Just like so many others across the nation, Scoggin talked about the passion Bostonians have for the marathon and those involved, "Boston is a wonderful crowd and they are so into the runners and they didn't deserve this and I thought what a sad tragedy."
Now, with one suspect in custody and the other dead, the nation waits for answers about an act that some say was so random.
