RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - Montana State Senator Ryan Zinke, a Former Commander of SEAL Team 6, founded a new Political Action Committee that includes former Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons on the Senior Advisory Board.
Zinke started Special Operations for America (SOFA) to "advocate for the election of Mitt Romney and like-minded candidates".
A news release announcing the group reads in-part, "Navy SEAL’s, Special Operations Personnel and Veteran’s across America have been outraged since Barack Obama conveniently took credit for killing Osama Bin Laden for political gain. The positioning of Obama as a wartime president was predictable and un-becoming of a Commander-in-Chief."
