Former Pack players arrested for attempted robbery

Reno, NV (KRNV & -- Former Wolf Pack players Anthony Knight and Avery Poates were arrested on attempted robbery charges last night, June 14, 2013

Reno Police arrested Anthony Knight on charges of attempted robbery, battery with a deadly weapon and possession of marijuana. Head Coach Brian Polian dismissed Knight from the team in April, Knight was not one of Polian's recruits.

Avery Poates was arrested on charges of attempted robbery and battery with a deadly weapon. Poates was let go in the Spring.

Poates and Knight both face two felony charges.

While yer at it, Nv4, try a re-write. An example, u state tyhat the alleged robber, (small) Potatoes 'was released int the Spring'. This is clumsy, as it seems to imply the cops released 'em. And, why a capital "s"? & After all the details, Y is it necessary to re-state they each face two felonies? A little thought, and organization, allows the reader to get information clearly. Oops, I forgot, this is on the TV
