NEAR TRUCKEE, Calif. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - Four vehicles were involved in crashes on I-80 Westbound near Hirschdale Road.
Emergency crews on the scene tell News 4 there was a injury crash involving two vehicles in that area. An ambulance responded to the crash. While crews were treating the injured in the crash, another vehicle slammed into the ambulance.
Luckily there were no serious injuries in any of the crashes.
The highway was down to one lane for a short time, but all travel lanes have re-opened.
