SPARKS, NEV. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The Sparks Museum will be maintaining their regular hours this weekend and is offering free admission to Nevada Residents on Friday, October 25th in honor of Nevada Day.
The Changing Gallery and the Cultural Center is currently featuring a special Italian Heritage Exhibit. The Western Folklife Center in Elko generously loaned select pieces of artwork and photographs, from their Italian Buckaroos collection, for this one of a kind exhibit in Sparks. This unique display covers a broad spectrum of topics ranging from Reno’s Little Italy neighborhoods to the early settlers and the Buckaroo and ranching lifestyle they brought with them.
The Sparks Museum & Cultural Center is located at 814 Victorian Avenue, Sparks. Just off I-80 on the corner or Pyramid Way and Victorian Avenue.
HOURS: Tuesday - Friday 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Saturdays 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
The Train is also open on Saturdays.
ADMISSION: $ 5 Adults (Free on Nevada Day for Nevada Residents*)
Children under 12 - Free
