Fundraiser being held in Desiree Bragg's name to raise money for family

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A Cut-a-Thon haircutting Fundraiser is being held in memory of Desiree Bragg to raise money for her six-month-old son. Stylists will be offering haircuts at a name-your-own-price, with the suggested minimum donation being $10 for haircut and style. All of the proceeds will go to a fund for Desiree's family.

Bragg was killed after a man allegedly ran his van into her, pinning her into a garage. She died several days later in the hospital.

The fundraiser will be Monday, Mar. 4 from 9am-3pm at Paul Mitchell The School (1600 Holcomb Ave). All local hairstylists are invited to participate, so long as they have their license with them. You can call ahead to reserve a spot at 284-2901.

The goal is to do 500 haircuts and make $5,000.

If you would like to make a donation to the family an account is set up at Greater Nevada Credit Union just ask about an account for the family of Desiree Bragg. The account number is 926595.
