SPARKS, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- It can be a family's worst nightmare, having a child diagnosed with cancer. Not only is there an emotional burden, but also a massive financial burden. The non-profit Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation knows the struggle families will face, and their goal is to help.
For the third year in a row, they are hosting the Know The Gold campaign. Local radio personalities broadcasted live from Scheels encouraging those in our community to help anyway they can on Friday. The goal is to raise $100,000 by the end of Friday.
If you'd like to make a donation, booths will be setup until 7 p.m. You can also donate by calling the toll free hotline at 844-886-6223, or visiting their website
