RENO, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- Nevada's largest celebration of Hispanic heritage was in full swing this weekend for the Cinco de Mayo festival held at the Grand Sierra Resort.

Nevada's largest Mexican heritage celebration expanded into three days this year. The festival included carnival rides, games, arts and crafts, food and sweets, and on-going entertainment that went on through Sunday night.

Organizers say the event was bigger and better than ever, housing about 100 vendors. A portion of the proceeds from this years Cinco de Mayo festival benefited local Hispanic youth leadership summits.
