RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- April is Parkinson's Disease Awareness Month and the Governor is proclaiming April 11th as Parkinson's Disease Awareness Day.

Governor Sandoval will make a formal announcement Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Atria Senior Living center located at 4880 Summit Ridge Drive. The ceremony will last until 3 p.m. and all are welcome to join in the celebration.
