RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The deadline to nominate a deserving individual or group for the 2013 Governor’s Points of Light Awards is approaching.
These awards will recognize the dedication, leadership, and innovation of volunteers and volunteer programs throughout Nevada. Recipients and finalists will be honored in six service areas:
•Northern Nevada Individual
•Southern Nevada Individual
•Rural Nevada Individual
•Nonprofit and community organization
•Corporate and business volunteer program
•Volunteer Manager
Nominations must be submitted no later than November 11, 2012 by 5pm PST at
http://nevadavolunteers.org/gpol/gpol_nomination.html. The recipients will be recognized at the 2013 Governor’s Points of Light Awards Luncheon at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 18, 2013.
