Grand jury returns indictment for meth and heroin trafficking

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- A federal grand jury returned a 17-count indictment on Thursday against six people accused of distributing methamphetamine and heroin.
 
According to a press release, a seven-month investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration began after authorities received reports of a man trafficking large amounts of meth and heroin throughout Sacramento, Yolo and El Dorardo counties.

If convicted, one of the suspects could face 20 years to life in prison, and a $20 million fine.
