SPARKS, Nev. (AP) — State Sen. Don Gustavson says he'll seek a second four-year term in next year's election.

The conservative Republican from Sparks was first elected to the Nevada Assembly in 1996. He served five terms in the lower house and was elected to the Senate in 2010.

His sprawling District 14 encompasses all or part of seven Nevada counties.

Gustavson says he'll continue to advocate for smaller government and fewer regulations to spur job creation.

Not only a career politician but a "do nothing" politician. His helmet law has failed every year and with no other significant accomplishments what makes him think he deserves another term?

I agree with vietnamvet25. CAREER POLITICIAN!!! This is the problem with America, and Congress is a prime example. If the office of the President is limited to 2 terms, why can't this apply to ALL other offices?
