RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Alumni of the Harlem Globetrotters will arrive in Reno at McQueen High School on May 11 to raise money for the McQueen Marching Band to go to the 2014 Rose Bowl Parade.

Entertaining basketball players will take on some of our very own Nevadans in a charity basketball game to support the McQueen High School Lancer Marching Band. The band will not only represent Reno, but the entire state of Nevada, in the annual Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California, on New Year’s Day 2014.

The McQueen Band is one of only eighteen bands selected from around the world to participate in the most prestigious parade in the world.

The Band is hoping to raise $100,000 for travel costs.

Tickets for the game are $20 and can be purchased by calling 775-746-5818 or you can purchase tickets online at www.McQueenBand.org.
