Reno, NV (KRNV & MyNews4.com)-- On Saturday, December 8th, Photographers and makeup artists voluteered their time to help provide professional-quality holiday portraits for the less fortunate.
As part of a program called "Help-Portrait" free portraits were offered at Reno High School from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This year's Help-Portrait featured almost 20 local photographers and a dozen hair and makeup artists. The Reno Help-Portrait services were made available to any families or individuals who could not otherwise afford to have photos taken by professional photographers.
Help-Portrait is a global nonprofit organization with programs in 56 different countries. Officials with the organization say its goal is "to mobilize photographers in various communities to capture the images of those in need."
