CARSON CITY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Tomorrow Assembly Minority Leader Pat Hickey will be introducing a law establishing a "cooling off" period for Nevada lawmakers turned lobbyists.
The bill will prohibit a former state legislator from becoming a lobbyist to the legislature for one complete session after leaving office.
Hickey says he hopes this will prevent individuals voting a certain way simply so they can procure a job as a lobbyist next session.
