RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- A home in the Midtown district was saved on Tuesday, thanks to the quick respose of Reno firefighters.

The fire was reported shortly after 2 p.m. in the 300-block of Mary Street. Despite heavy smoke and flames coming from the roof when first responders got on scene, the fire was contained to the attic space.

Residents inside were able to make it out safely, and after a little rehab, will be able to go back home. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
