RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- This year's Honor Flight Nevada is giving local veterans a new level of appreciation.

World War 2, Korean, and Vietnam War veterans were sent in style to Baltimore, Maryland on Thursday. The trip will eventually take them to Washington D.C. memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices.

Everyone is welcome to join in on the honors on Sunday. The flight will return to a water arch, bagpiper, therapy dogs, and music and a military salute at Reno-Tahoe International Airport.

They will arrive on Southwest at 3:50 p.m.
