RENO, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- The Hot August Night's Foundation is contributing $100,000 to the new William N. Pennington Boys & Girls Club facility located on Foster Drive in Reno.

The new 55,000 square ft. facility opens next month and is expected to serve more than 3,000 kids throughout the community. The Hot August Nights Foundation was established to create an instrument for individuals and businesses to work together providing children in need with a more meaningful and productive life. All of this, through the availability of continuing and higher education.

The donation will be formally announced Tuesday at a ceremony from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Facility located at 2680 East Ninth Street in Reno.
The Boy's and Girl's Club will also be announcing their 'Youth of the Year' as well as scholarship recipients. Cocktails and light appetizers will be served.
