RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The Head coach of Hug High School's boy's basketball team, Keith Crawford, has resigned.

Crawford was head coach for 2 seasons at Hug. While he was coach, the team won a regional championship in 2012, and lost a state semi-final to Bishop Gorman. Hug missed the playoffs this season.

“Keith is an outstanding basketball coach,” said Hug High School Assistant Principal Brad Bodine. “The job he did with the 2012 regional championship team was one of the best I’ve seen.”

Hug is currently in the process of finding a replacement. A specific timeline has not yet been set.
