Identity released of woman killed in Friday crash on U.S. 395

UPDATE - 12:15PM - NHP has sent out a correction, saying the crash happened Friday, Feb. 8. at 9:20pm.






LEMMON VALLEY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The identity of the woman killed in a crash on U.S. 395 on Saturday has been released.

Nevada Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 9:20am on Feb. 9 after a 2005 white BMW driven by Reno resident Joyce So, 49, was traveling southbound and hit Reno resident Brittney Bessey as she attempted to cross the highway going east. Bessey was pronounced dead at the scene.

If anyone witnessed this accident, or has information regarding this accident, they are urged to contact Trooper Michael Stapledon with the Major Accident Investigation Team at 775-689-4623 regarding accident #130208046. You guys should really check your facts before printing Brittney was not a "woman " Brittney was a 12 year old girl who was close friends with my nephew.
