RENO, Nev. (AP) — The building industry says the Reno-Sparks housing market is seeing marked improvements in new home construction, sale prices and land value during the first half of 2013.
That was the assessment of real estate experts attending the Builders Association of Northern Nevada midyear review on Wednesday.
According to the Reno Gazette-Journal, median home sale prices have risen 64 percent since the low point in January 2012.
The value of land is up and home construction has nearly doubled.
