As I have said in other comments this woman spent weeks raid=sing funds saying she was going to stop this roundup. So, after 808 horses were captured and removed, and after a DOZEN DIE, and BLM goes on Holiday, and the only portion of the roundup left involves the capture and release of mares to be PZPd, she finally files her TRO. She did this before. She waits for the blood to flow and we all know roundups are brutal, but this is how Lori Schmidt, AKA , Laura Leigh, makes her living. She is not an advocate who represents any but her own followers who have no idea she is is a fraud and most of what she writes are lies to get people upset. She plays on emotions and raises money to support herself and many bad habits. THIS WOMAN HAS BEEN REPORTED TO THE SECRETARY OF STATE IN NEVADA MANY TIMES, The Attorney General of Nevada, THE FBI, THE IRS AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES WHO WERE UNABLE TO FIND HER TO QUESTION HER. This is a serious situation where this woman slanders all who have stopped working with her or have never tolerated her fraudulent claims about herself. She is not a field biologist as she claimed and is uneducated and actually afraid of horses. She is competing with real advocates to out do them and to show them up as if she were a child. Her lawsuits are sloppy and her lawyer enables her to do all the writing and filing despite her ignorance. BLM has already filed to dismiss her last 'humane' suit so she is ramping up her fundraising so she can live off another suit for a couple years. Please do not give her money. All her money is unaccounted for and she shows no transparency on the amounts she raises or her own uses of this money. She claims she has won two lawsuits and no one else has won any???? This is a lie. The West Douglas Herd is free today and has been for the last 3 years because of the most successful lawsuit filed to stop them from being rounded up. Other lawsuits address serious problems which are all encompassing and need the support of everyone!

You have misrepresented the lawsuit. The emergency motion is made only to halt the operation of BLM at Owyhee and restrict the movement of the 50 horses that BLM has already gathered and are standing in temporary holding exposed to the weather somewhere out on the Owyhee HMA. I hope that the weather does not turn bad and the horses exposed to horrible conditions while the hearing is conducted tomorrow at 11. Forecast here in California is snow and plummeting temperatures. It will be worse in Nevada. This is very bad timing on the part of this so-called equine advocate. The abuses she complains of happened weeks ago.
