LAS VEGAS (AP, MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- District Judge James Mahan issued an order Friday confirming his ruling to dismiss the class action lawsuit filed against Rawson-Neal Psychiatric Hospital by James Flavey Coy Brown, according to a press release from the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services.

The lawsuit alleged the Nevada psychiatric hospital violated a Brown's civil rights by giving him a bus ticket to California, a practice known as 'patient dumping.'

Brown’s lawsuit sought relief for alleged violations of his constitutional rights and federal law. The Court dismissed the entire suit and reaffirmed its decision after Brown filed a Motion for Reconsideration.
