Sparks, NV (KRNV & MyNews4.com) --Regional Gang Unit detectives say they were searching for a juvenile suspect that was linked to a rival gang shooting and was also on youth patrol. The detectives say two rival gang members fired weapons at the 1300 block of Riley Ave. in Reno. They say their shots were directed at an intended victim but they missed the victim and shot a nearby occupied apartment complex with several bullets. The detectives say they were able to locate and arrest the suspect in this incident last Thursday, October 3rd. Officials say the located suspect along with another juvenile suspect are facing three felony counts of discharging a firearm from a moving vehicle into a structure and assault with a deadly weapon. They say the two suspects are 16 and 17-years-old.
