Kate Smith Elementary named National Title I Distinguished School
Kate Smith Elementary School in Sparks has been named a National Title I Distinguished School, one of only two schools in Nevada to be so honored this year. This national recognition is based upon exceptional student performance for two or more consecutive years and success in closing the achievement gap between student groups.
