RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Marcus Landry and Jerome Jordan have been selected to play in the seventh annual NBA D-League All-Star Game, the league announced today.
The game takes place Feb. 16, at Sprint Arena at NBA All-Star Jam Session at Houston’s George R. Brown Convention Center. The game will air live on NBA TV at 3 p.m. ET.
Landry (6-8, 225) is currently averaging 16.7 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. He placed second in the 2013 NBA D-League Showcase 3-Point Shootout in Reno in January. Landry was also named to the 2011 NBA D-League All-Star team.
Jordan (7-0, 253) joined the Bighorns in December via a trade with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. He is averaging 14.3 points and 8.2 rebounds in 16 games with Reno. Jordan is currently ranked first in the D-League in field goal percentage, making 60.1% of his shots.
Both Landry and Jordan will play for the D-League All-Star Futures Team. They were voted in to the game by the D-League’s 16 head coaches and were eligible to be selected based on having played in half of the Bighorns’ games through Jan. 27. Players must be on an active NBA D-League roster at the time of the NBA D-League All-Star Game in order to compete.
