RENO, Nev. (KRNV & Mynews4.com) -- The stage is set for northern Nevada's largest rummage sale.

The Doctors' Wives Rummage Sale, which boasts more that 19,000 sq. ft. of display space, is coming to the Reno Livestock Events Center this Saturday, March 1, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Past sales have generated over 1.7 million dollars and all the money is donated to local non-profits.

Doctors' Wives Rummage Sale chair Kim Bacchus says last year the sale raised $60,000 for nursing scholarships and local non-profits. Bacchus says everything sold has been donated and organized by more than 100 volunteers.

Although doors open on Saturday at 8 a.m. Bacchus says they are anticipating a line and she recommends getting their early, because it's first come first serve.

The event costs $3 for adults and children under 17 are free.
