RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Law enforcement agencies across northern Nevada joined forces over night to train for multiple emergency situations like mass shootings.
Training topics included an active shooter scenario, a hostage rescue, and a mass casualties and traumas scenario.
Authorities say even though this training had been planned for several months, the recent events in Connecticut and Oregon are reminders for law enforcement to stay proactive in the preparation for these types of incidents.
