Local band releases debut album, one-of-a-kind show to celebrate
RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) - After four years of being a band and spending two years working on an album, the local band Bluff Caller has caught their first big break. The four member band released there debut album at the very end of 2013 and now the band wants to celebrate with their community.
The alternative rock band will be playing Sunday, Feb. 16 at the Knitting Factory alongside fellow local bands to give the community a little taste of their debut album. In addition to Bluff Caller, the show will feature local favorites like The Apprentice, Bonfire Set, Naked For Safety and CRVSH.
Cody Rea, Dominic Kelly, Spencer Mead, and Greg Rea tell News 4 their first album is more than just a couple years in the making. Cody Rea says it's been something each one of them has been pursuing their whole lives. The group explains their performance on Sunday is in honor of the band's exciting new venture.
