SPARKS, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A local business is making an effort to help the Newtown shooting victims' families.
Today through Saturday, you can stop by Dad's Quick Mart in Sparks and pick up a miniature decorative Christmas tree for $20.
Dena Palmer and her daughters made the trees and will be donating the proceeds to Connecticut victims' families.
The owner of Dad's Quick Mart will also be selling $5 raffle tickets for a gas giveaway through Monday. Those proceeds will also be donated to victim's families of the Newtown shooting.
