RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Local groups are teaming up to provide free meals for school children during spring break.

The Food Bank of Northern Nevada, the Boys and Girls Club, and the City of Reno are serving free meals throughout Washoe County School District's two-week spring break. The program is open to all kids through age 18.

Jocelyn Lantrip from the Food Bank said the goal now is to get the word out. The kids' cafe starts on Monday, and lasts until April 11. Breakfast will be served from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., and lunch will be served from noon to 12:30 p.m.
