RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Those against mining operations near historic Virginia City tried to make their voices heard today.

About two dozen people lined Liberty Street today in front of the Nevada Museum of Art protesting mining in the Comstock. Their message today was to stop open pit mining. They protested for about two hours. The protesters also performed a play called "A Tale of Two Communities." They say it depicts the alleged injustices being done on the Comstock.
