Locals to enjoy historic Truckee River walking tour

RENO, Nev. (Mynews4.com & KRNV) -- The Historic Reno Preservation Society for the Truckee River is holding a walking tour as part of Nevada's 150th Anniversary of Statehood.

Beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday, the relaxing stroll along the Truckee River will start at the McKinley Arts and Cultural Center and end near the Lear Theater. Participants can expect to see all kinds of architecture and learn about the rich political history of the area.
