RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Gas prices have gone up three cents on average over the past two weeks, but an industry analyst says there's good news right around the corner.

The Lundberg survey found that the average price nationwide is now $3.72 a gallon. Crude oil prices, however, have dropped and US refineries are running at high rates, meaning we'll soon see lower prices at the pump.

Prices are highest in Los Angeles at $4.27 a gallon, while Albuquerque has the lowest average price at $3.34 a gallon.

Here in Reno, gas prices are hovering around $4 a gallon.
