kdavis52;It gladdens my heart to know you have someone who doesn't feel the need to be that way. Hopefully he treats you well because of his upbringing and respect for women and not because he fears retribution.

It's called immaturity rich or poor. Plus the guy wanted to be "Manly Man, I'll show you who's boss" attitude. Some guys have that mentality. I used to be married to one of them. Women should be aware of the warning signs of this behavior. First come the questions of where have you been and then who were you talking to. Or just flat out slap her to keep her in line(so he thinks). My current significant other knows he has to go to sleep sometime so he doesn't even think about those "Manly Man" things.

al92lt1; Care to expand on that,or would that cross the line into snobbery? Remember the action in the upscale neighborhood in SW Reno a while back? See? Even people who live in big fancy homes have been known to do the same stuff. No-I think you're just trying to be a snob. I hope those two are able to get some help;domestic violence is such a terrible thing to have to deal with.

I think the key word is "trailer".
