Man Care Flighted after structure fire near W. 4th St. and McCarran Blvd.

UPDATE 1:10PM - Fire crews on scene tell News 4 that one man was careflighted after a structure fire at 5201 W. 4th Street.

According to Battalion Chief Dick Nachtsheim neighbors suffered from smoke inhalation, but refused Careflight. Fire crews also had to rescue dogs from the apartments.

Fire crews were able to contain the blaze to one room in the apartment.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation and the condition of the man who was careflighted to Davis is unknown at this time.
