Man Wanted for Domestic Violence Caught by Police

UPDATE-2:15PM-----

According to a press release, early this morning, detectives with the Sparks Police Department and other local agencies recieved information Clack may be in the area of the Boomtown Casino. Clack was located near a vehicle in the parking lot when detectives observed him run to the associated vehicle, enter the vehicle and drive it away at a high rate of speed. Officers pursued Clack to the area of Ambrose Park in Reno where Clack abandoned the vehicle and entered the Truckee River. Clack emerged from the river and attempted to hide from officers and detectives in heavy brush along the river bank. Clack was located a short time later and taken into custody without incident. 

Clack was booked for outstanding warrants and for the crimes of Disobeying a Peace Officer Endangering Persons and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle. Clack is being held in the Washoe County Jail without bail.

A man wanted for numerous felony domestic violence related crimes was arrested this morning.

Around 9 a.m. this morning, Clack's vehicle was spotted by police and Washoe County Sheriff deputies outside of Boomtown Casino, according to the Washoe County Sheriff's Office. Clack then ran into his vehicle from the Casino and took off, leading police and deputies on a chase on eastbound I-80. Clack then got off at the Mayberry Road exit and ditched his vehicle at Ambrose Park. Clack jumped into the Truckee River and swam across but police and deputies surrounded both sides of the river and he was arrested.

Clack had outstanding warrants stemming from crimes investigated by Reno Police, Sparks Police and the Washoe County Sheriff's Office.
