CARSON CITY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A man accused of child abuse has been sentenced to 28-72 months in prison, according to the Carson City District Attorney's Office.
Franklin Laidley, 28, is being sentenced for one count of child abuse.
During a two week period, Laidley physically abused his live-in girlfriend's six-month-old daughter. The child showed injuries consistent with being shaken and/or hit.
It's still not clear if there are any permanent effects caused by the abuse.
