RENO, Nev. (KRNV & -- A man was arrested on Friday afternoon at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport for attempting to use fraudulent credit cards and possessing multiple identification cards.

Deon Briggs, 43, was caught by TSA agent while trying to get through security. The agent noticed that the form of ID presented by Briggs did not have the usual security features, according to Lorie Dankers, the Public Affairs Manager for the regional TSA.

TSA immediately notified the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority Police. Law enforcement responded to the checkpoint, interviewed the passenger and discovered he was in possession of a fraudulent Texas driver's license, two expired identification cards (both with his real name) and seven counterfeit credit cards, according to Dankers.

The fraudulent cards were confiscated and the passenger was arrested on two charges. In addition, the suspect is a convicted felon who is currently wanted in California, Dankers says.
