RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A man has been arrested after sexually assaulting a 14-year-old male repeatedly.
According to Lt. Mohammad Rafaqat, a 14-year-old male child disclosed to a school counselor that he was molested for the last one and a half to three years by 29-year-old Jorge Ponce. The counselor then called police who brought in Ponce for questioning and subsequently took Ponce into custody.
He was charged with three counts of sexual assault against a child (no bail), three counts of statutory sexual seduction by a person over the age of 21 (bail $30,000), and three counts of lewdness with a child under 14 (no bail), and is booked into Washoe County Jail.
The 14-year-old was a family acquaintance of Ponce. Police have not disclosed what school the 14-year-old attends.
