UPDATE: News 4 has learned that JB Williams was discovered dead inside the home from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot.
UPDATE: According to Churchill County Sheriff Ben Trotter, a 911 call came from an unidentified female saying she had been shot. She was advised by authorities to leave the property. Deputies found her walking on the road and she told authorities that the man, JB Williams, went back inside the house, possibly to get more ammunition.
The woman was shot in the face with a .22 caliber mag handgun. She was careflighted to Renown with non-life threatening injuries.
UPDATE: The Lyon County SWAT team, U.S. Department of Fish and Wildlife, Nevada Highway Patrol, the Churchill County Sheriff's Office and
the North-Central narcotics task force are on scene. They have established a perimeter surrounding the residence on all sides. They have not made contact with the suspect.

According to NHP Trooper Chuck Allen, the woman was shot in the face with a small handgun and transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The relationship between the man and woman is unknown at this time.
A perimeter is set up around the 2100 block of Rice Road in Fallon, while Churchill County Sheriff's deputies continue to communicate with the barricaded male suspect.
FALLON, NEV. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - Churchill County Deputies and Nevada Highway Patrol are on the scene of a shooting at a residential home in Fallon.
According to Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Chuck Allen, a man and woman were involved in a domestic disturbance this afternoon, which resulted in the man shooting the woman in the face, then fleeing the residence. The man is now barricading himself in a separate residence in the 2000 block of Rice Road near US 95.
The Lyon County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team has been called to assist NHP and the Churchill County Sheriff's Office in retrieving the male suspect and have set up a perimeter around the area.
News 4 has a crew headed to the scene and will have more information as it develops.
