ROSEVILLE, Calif. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A man has died after a drunk driver hit him in Roseville around 8:30pm on Thursday in Roseville.
Police say Oleg Tarasuk hit former Reno resident Greg De la Champa and three other vehicles before coming to a stop. Tarasuk resisted arrest at the time.
Tarasuk has been arrested for a felony DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter. He was arraigned at the Placer County Superior Court yesterday. He is in custody and being held with $275,000 bail. He didn't enter a plea. The district attorney's office is pursuing a homicide charge against him.
