SPARKS, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- One man was arrested after a series of domestic disturbances in Sparks on Friday.

According to the Sparks Police Department, officers responded to a verbal altercation in the 1000-block of F Street at around 2:30 p.m. on Friday. The altercation was between a male and female, who are in a dating relationship. The male, identified as Jonathon Sartor, had locked the female out of the residence. The female was picked up by her family and taken to their residence located in the 1000-block of Greenbrae Drive.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Merchant Drive and Sullivan Lane for a possible drive-by shooting. Officers located several witnesses who identified a white two-door passenger car having fired three shots at a male in shorts and a red shirt that was exiting a convenience store. Officers confirmed gunshots were fired, due to one projectile and a 9mm handgun casing located in the roadway at that location. Officers located Jonathon Sartor walking southbound on Sullivan Lane, and he confirmed that he was shot at, but was uncooperative with officers and stated he wanted nothing done.

At approximately 4:30 p.m., officers responded to a residence located in the 1000-block of Greenbrae. This is the family residence of the female from the earlier domestic call. The original call indicated that gunshots were being fired into the residence, but according to witnesses, the suspect was throwing rocks through windows of the residence and a vehicle in the driveway, and no gun was utilized. Four children, an elderly male and the female from the earlier incident were present in the residence during the incident.

Officers responding to the third call located Jonathon Sartor standing in front of the residence. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Sparks Police Station. During an detective interview, he admitted to causing the damage at the Greenbrae residence, and was booked for Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Child Endangerment and Property Damage.

Sartor refused to implicate any person from the shooting, but detectives believe the shooting suspect was known to him. Police believe that the shooting is an isolated incident and is related to the earlier domestic call. Detectives are currently investigating the shooting.
